Clipper Payout Terms
Clippers get paid per 1,000 verified views on approved clips, at the rate set by each campaign, from that campaign's budget. Payouts are sent through Stripe Connect.
What gets paid
- Only clips a person has reviewed and approved against the campaign rules. No one approves their own clip.
- Only verified views. Verified views are currently measured on TikTok; each campaign lists the platforms it pays on.
- Payment comes from the campaign budget held in escrow. When a budget is used up, the campaign stops paying.

Getting paid out
- To withdraw you need a verified Validus account and a Stripe payout account (Stripe Connect). Stripe may ask for identity and tax details; these are collected inside the app only when payouts require them.
- Where payouts are available: United States only for now.
- Minimum withdrawal: $5. You can withdraw your whole withdrawable balance.
- Standard withdrawals are free. Instant withdrawals cost 2% (1% on Pro).
- How often: Pro can withdraw any time. Free can withdraw once a week after clips were paid on 5 different campaigns that week; otherwise once every 30 days.
Reversals
A withdrawal is reversed only if Stripe reverses or cancels the transfer; the amount is then credited back to your balance. A person can reject or flag a clip during review, and flagged or rejected clips aren't paid. Views that have been approved and credited are not taken back.
Taxes
You are responsible for your own taxes. Consult a tax professional about what applies to you. Stripe may collect tax information and issue tax forms where required.
